11. HONORS VS. GENERAL COURSES Honors classes are determined by Westest scores, ACT Explorer results and teacher recommendation. An honors class can earn you a one point bump in GPA.: Honors A = 5 Quality Points Honors B = 4 Quality Points Honors C = 3 Quality Points Honors D = 2 Quality Points You do not have to take all honors classes – you can take 1, 2, or 3+ honor classes depending on your strengths.
