Would we have participated? NO! There are certain things that can traumatize a child. Children with a stuttering problem should not be negatively reinforced to speak proper. We feel it is an issue involving the way one sees themselves and if they are shy they can have a stuttering problem. We wouldn't want someone to correct our speech.
