4. INFORMATION  Also called Old School.  One of the two synagogues in Jewish Quarter in Třebíč.  Built in the western part near to the oldest Jewish houses.  Baroque structure built 1639-1642 ( according to a Jewish calendar 5399-5402 ).  A warehouse during the Worl d War II.

6. Appearance Simple – not to be different from the surroundings. Rectangular layout. Interior influenced by Christian temples. The hall has a tunnel vault. N eo-Gothic since the mid-19th century.

8. History There used to be about 200 seats in the building (114 for men, 80 for women). Men prayed in woden pews separated from women who used a gallery upstairs with a separaded entrance. In the mid-20th century, the Czechoslovak Hussite Church adapted the building and still uses it as a church.
