Sometimes we miss what God sees or what God has for us because we are so focused on what we want to see

What do people see when they see the Cross? What impact does the Cross have on your life?

Hebrews 10:10 And by God’s will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

Hebrews 2:14 Since the children have flesh and blood, He (Jesus) too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death—

that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Colossians 1:19-22 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Colossians 2:13-15 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness,

which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
