2  Provided by 45 colleges and universities  Students enrolment increased from 115000 in 1995 to 196000 in 2012

3  Established in the year 2000 as MECAT  Its name was changed in 2007 to M.U.B.S (www.mubs.edu.lb)  4 faculties (Business – Computer – Education & Social Work – Health Sciences) with a total enrolment of 2790 students  Graduate students: 283  M.U.B.S places a heavy emphasis on its quality of education  Language of instruction is English. Mostly in the form of lectures and seminars  M.U.B.S prides itself on its state of the art facilities from research centers to fully equipped gymnasiums

4  The Republic of Lebanon is a country in Western Asia, on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea.  Population: 4.4 million/Capital City: Beirut/Area: 10, 452 sq km  Lebanon has a moderate Mediterranean climate.  Arabic is the official national language. Most Lebanese are trilingual (Arabic- French – English).  Lebanese food is one of the most exquisite food in the world.  Byblos is the oldest city in the world.

5  IRO was established in 2002  Responsible for the development of the university’s internationalization process  Serves as the facilitator to the university’s international projects and relations  Partnerships with international universities  Leader in Lebanon in TEMPUS and Erasmus projects participation

6  Ongoing orientation to help facilitate the integration of international students (accounting to 9% of MUBS student population) and scholars in the Lebanese / MUBS community  International students and scholars comprehensive services ( Residency, housing, health insurance, financial aid and personal concern)  Serving as liaison with Lebanese government agencies

7  Language training  Students and faculty exchange programs  Refer students to appropriate academic department and campus support services  Offers extra curricular field trips and promotes community interaction  Supports the activities of the international student club
