6. The Statue Of Liberty The Statue Of Liberty is based on Liberty Island. It was a present from the French in 1865. The Statue Of Liberty attracts at least 2 million people every year.

7. Empire State Building The Empire State Building is 380 metres high. The State was the worlds tallest building for about 40 years. It is one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

8. Central Park Central Park is an urban park located in Midtown, Manhattan, New York. The park is 843 acres today. It was opened in 1857. The park’s annual budget is $37.5 million a year.

9. The Twin Towers The Twin Towers were 417 metres high. They were hit by 2 aeroplanes on the 11/9/2001. They were built in 1972. Osama Bin Laden hijacked 2 aeroplanes and crashed them into the towers.

10. New York Movies A lot of movies were set and filmed in New York. For example Bolt, Ice Age, Madagascar, Iron Man 2, The Smurfs 1 and 2 and Mr Peabody and Sherman.
