3 HOMEWORK PRESENTATIONS Readings : None Homework ID outline –Draft responses to portions/components of ID plan covered so far in course in outline format –Post to Yola –Prepare to present outline to class one at a time Materials plan –List and describe potential support materials Sharing –One at a time, come to front, bring up Yola

4 VIDEO MODELING Teacher-made instructional video Usually shown to students right before task Transfer to task by imitating model in video Research in autism

6 AVIARY Aviary.com online audio program Aviary #1 –Get started, use my audio, practice with levels Aviary #2 –Record voice for practice, use effects –Save as mp3 Aviary #3 –Build a bumper with Aviary loops/samples

7 AVIARY #1 Open an account Listen to two audio files Choose one Download to your machine In Aviary, File > Import audio Drag to track On left side under track number –Volume/gain slider lower level of track to middle –On left, click Auto, click Fade, drag handle to create fade

8 AVIARY #2 Click Record button in lower right Allow Aviary control over mic Press red button, record voiceover, import to project Edit > Effects, select Pitch from drop down Dial up or down the pitch of your voice File > Mixdown Download the mp3 or wav

9 AVIARY #3 Use Aviary Library samples to build a brief music bumper No more than 8 measures Use same beats per minute i.e., drums, bass, guitar, other Reposition voice track after bumper Mixdown and download

10 NEXT SESSION Readings : None Develop plan for using class time to develop materials Identify what materials you will work on –Presentations or supporting materials Identify any technology needs that you have Email me any technology needs beyond what is in the room that you may need Class time will be completely for development
