3. Goal I’m going to stock food items, clean, and work the cashier at my aunt’s food store for 6 hours on Sunday, the 10 th of January.

4. Form a plan I will go to the Food store with my cousin and work there for 6 hours on Sunday, January 10th. Help clean the store, and clean up after people that eat there. Help stock the food items on the shelves. Work the cash register to ring people up

5. Working the Register Learning how to work the cash register wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. There’s a different key to push for every little item that people buy. It’s almost like working a calculator, but more complicated

6. Stocking items There was no specific order in stocking the items, we just had to make sure they were neat and tidy and in the right section.

7. Serving food We served filipino food, and serving it to people wasn’t that difficult. I basically had to ask what they wanted and just served it to them before they paid

8. Cleaning I cleaned the tables by wiping them with wet towels and throwing away used plates and utensils. I don’t enjoy cleaning but it’s a big part in maintaining a food store.

9. Follow up We succeeded in our goal at working at the Filipino food store for 6 hours on Sunday, January 10 th. I learned the basics of how to maintain a store. I cleaned tables, served food, stocked items, and worked the cashier. It was pretty tiring, but fun at the same time. Doing community service at the food store was a good experience.
