6 Workshop Two Session One: Bullying and behavior management in the middle school classroom. Successfully navigating a parent conference Session Two: Best Practices in Teacher Preparation: Preparing educators to ask higher-order questions, provide corrective feedback, and give specific positive praise. Session Three: Academic Interventions for K-12 students (e.g., read-alouds, science scenario, working with families).

8 Objective Two Students will design and teach a class lesson within the TeachLivE lab setting. The PI will collect teacher candidate impact data via teaching rubric and survey instrument for evaluation.

10 Objective Three Conduct a Mixed Methods Research Study. Examine utility of lab for various stakeholders. Surveys, focus groups, Teacher observations After-action reviews.

11 Objective Four Disseminate artifacts and results of study Via campus and SUNY-wide channels. Artifacts my include: workshop agendas, Sample curricula, project templates, sample activities, Activity guides.

21 Moving Forward… Upcoming research project with graduate students in graduate SPD curriculum course at Buffalo State: Measuring fidelity of teacher training in TeachLivE using prompting when working with a student with ASD. Research Foundation Grant Project for development of proposal for external funding source. Replication of research study at Johns Hopkins University, School of Education and Kennedy Krieger Institute. Partnership with Empire State College for Master’s Thesis in Adult Learning. Partnership with University of North Carolina at Greensboro for doctoral research. Continued developments with new and potential partners and SUNY stakeholders.
