It is likely to last 30-60 minutes and it gives them the opportunity to: Gain impartial and independent advice and guidance Start getting some ideas about what they might do after year 11 Discuss future plans Clarify their ideas Work out how to put their ideas into practice Think through the implications of any decisions they make
