Lessons Learned General CSO-Powerline Partnerships – Separating technology development contracting from project management contracting Technology Outsourcing – Utilizing fixed bid pricing and schedule guarantees Scope Control – Adopting rigorous evaluation and assessment of scope changes Key DARE Forum Survey Findings / Highlights Most CSOs utilize social media and e-mail lists as primary communications tools – some have in-house websites, but fear creating too much noise Only half used technology for virtual engagement opportunities, organizing action, creating space for discussions, or supporting networking Largest challenge is getting people to participate
