3 Transport No out of catchment buses Out of catchment can subscribe to catchment bus if there are spare seats at a cost of £500 approx However if new catchment students arrive you could lose that seat Some parents set up a car share

4 Science – BAYS visits Students visit Walton’s science department (about 1 hour) Accompanied by their primary teachers Carry out an experiment linked to burning and fire safety

6 English – transition activity Based on Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo Currently being read in primary English classes Students given a Walton’s Kingdom sheet Partially complete and return on Induction Day or Evening Complete in first week back

7 PE activities Y6 Tennis on Monday’s 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm Y6 Sports Day ◦ Thursday July 10 th ◦ 9 am to 12 pm approx ◦ Run by our Y12 Sports Leaders ◦ Mixed teams
