4 The Peace of God God – the source of true peace He is called the God of peace – Rom. 16:20 Phil. 4:9, “The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” 1 Thess. 5:23, 1 Cor. 14:33

5 The Peace of God The peace of God – that which He has done to make our relationship with Him possible. Eph. 4:16 –enmity put to death. And the promises He has made to be with us if we serve Him. Because He has made His home with us – John 14:23

6 The Peace of God Peace WITH God – the calmness we enjoy within because we are pleasing to Him. Our lives are in harmony with His will and thus we have real hope and relationship.

7 The Peace of God The peace WITH God – “When peace like a river attendeth my way. When sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, ‘It is well, It is well with my soul.’” (H. G. Stafford)
