In previous lessons, we have used a number line to compare integers. Since John and Jeff have a negative account balance, their balances will be plotted to the left of zero on the number line. Jude has a positive account balance so his balance will be plotted to the right of zero on the number line. Looking at the number line, we can see that Jeff has the least amount of money and Jude has the most amount of money.
