3 Social Issues  The Roaring 20’s  The time following World War 1 until 1929 was a time of great growth in the US.  There was an economic boom. Average people could afford “consumer goods”:  Refrigerators, radios, telephones  There were more jobs to MAKE these goods  Due to assembly line factories, good were cheaper  In 1908 a car cost $820, in 1925 a car cost $290!
