10 Some Lifestyle Diseases Constipation Non-Medico remedies  Figs (4-6) and Resins (25-50) pre-soaked in 400ml of water for 2-4 hours.  Green Amla, carrot, raw onion, tomato as salad (above 150-200 gm)  2 Guavas ( Peru/Amrud ) per day after lunch/dinner.  150-200 gm papaya after lunch/dinner.  5 Litres of water per day.

11 High Blood Pressure  Shavasan / Relaxation  2 Bananas after lunch.  2 boiled potatoes with skin before dinner (without oil and salt)  All food containing high potassium.  Substitute rock salt for common salt with reduced quantity to the possible extent.  If causative factor found, eliminate / treat it.  Note : Low BP – Ashwagandha Ukala

12 High Cholesterol  Nuts : Apricot (Akharot) 3-5 per day. Almonds, 4-6 per day(Pre-soaked in water). Pista, 10-15 per day(Pre-soaked in water).  Fruits : Amla (Maximum 2 per day)  Medicines : Cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon with warm water after food.(Lunch & Dinner) Flax seed (Alasi) 1 teaspoon with water. Kashmiri Garlic, 3-6 pcs with warm water in morning.

13 High Cholesterol (Contd....) 25 gms Isabgol in 300 ml of water before 30 mins of lunch and dinner. Green tea (4 cups a day, without milk)  Vegetables : 1 white onion as salad with all other salad vegetables including tomato and lime. Use minimum salt and no fancy garnishing (Eg. Mayonnaise). Carrot 100 gms per day (Uncooked)  Exercise : 30 minutes of perspiring walk in morning.

14 High Cholesterol (Contd....)  Food : Cow ghee (1 teaspoon flat). Milk (Cow / Goat). Oil (Til, Soya, Maize, Mustard, Rice Bran) NOTE : Buy 5 kg pack at a time by rotation.

15 TIPS Get up before Sun rise & sleep before 10pm. Keep gap of two hours between dinner & sleeping. Avoid daytime siesta of more than 30 minutes. Avoid eating & drinking anything before & after going to toilet. Keep frequency of INIMICAL FOOD to the lowest possible level (Max. 2 times a week)
