Can a sharing forum of some kind be created perhaps looking at a specific "pretend" topic and taking it from start to finish- there is so much we can learn from each other How can we use what we have in an effective manner, to enhance instruction? Where "The race to the top" is going to take us. Will it set us back in terms of technology integration and the skills our students need? ~My view is that by teaching appropriate themes within our curriculum, standards will be met regardless. What would be most important for me to do to keep up with technology? What is more important to our administrators, test scores of traditional education practices or teaching students for their future? We have no way of tracking our students careers to measure "success" One question that I would like addressed for the next class would be...How do we get out administrators to really stand up and see what needs to be done to encourage technology in the classroom because it is so useful and what the kids need and not just let the "older" teachers stick to the same teaching style that they have been using for 15 years? 17. How do I get over the feeling of being so overwhelmed with technology? How can I get more computers in my room for student use? What are the official policies in the district for use of technology? Do we have to clear technology tools with IT, or do we have the freedom to explore things in our classrooms that we think could be beneficial to our students? I would like to find new resources to use in the classsroom for math. With the upgrade of the computers, I am unable to use the software that I used in the past. I need to find new website based information. Where are some places that I can go or subscribe to that will help keep me updated on the technology that is out there?
