5 CRITICAL ISSUES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION RESTRUCTURED ACCELERATED POWER DEVELOPMENT AND REFORMS PROGRAMME (R-APDRP) ModulesIssues/ Status MBC Issues in DCB, ASD, TPPs on real time, Cancellation of 'in between month's bill, Group Billing, Group payment, bulk updation of disconnection & reconnection details through front end portal, Vigilance-Lead processing & auto calculation of BBC, Legal module. GIS Delta changes & data updation on continuous basis, BESCOM is partnering with KSRSAC for delta updation work, KSRSAC to give price proposal after completion of incremental data updation in one pilot subdivision. Pilot Data provided to KSRSAC and Updation work is in progress Field data updation in progress. ITIA yet to respond to the notice given by BESCOM for undue delay in deployment of workable Network Analysis NEPLAN software. MDAS Partial data availability from AMR meters due to – i)Outages in meters/ modems/GPRS connectivity. ii)Installation of modems completely stopped by ITIA. Notice issued for delay in installation of modems. For additional quantity of Modems over and above the RFP quantity, a pilot is run by several vendors. Data communicating, vendor yet to be finalized Energy Audit SCADA Reading mismatch in the EA Reports Delta changes in GIS database not being updated, and frequent outages in meters/ modems/GPRS links are causing erroneous reports. EA reports generated are not acceptable. 5

6 CRITICAL ISSUES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION RESTRUCTURED ACCELERATED POWER DEVELOPMENT AND REFORMS PROGRAMME (R-APDRP) ModulesIssues/ Status Training Effective end user training to be imparted. ESCOMs identified Super user, Track lead training yet to be imparted. Training environment to be deployed by ITIA for hands on training. Network Connectivity Notice issued to ITIA and RCOM for poor network maintenance and poor quality of work. ITIA reverted informing its Utilities call to replace the NBSP Vendor. 6
