13 Why use Photo Language? Images often evoke intuitive understandings that connect us to our emotions Emotions help clarify what is important and what we value, which helps to clarify and sharpen our vision

16 Photo Language: ●Choose/take a photo that for you acts as a representation or metaphor for something you value about education or Warkworth School. ●Take one minute to explain to your partner why you chose that picture and how it expresses something you value. Invite questions and clarifying statements. Then swap over. ●Move into a group of about four. Identify the things that are common between your stories and write them on your sheet. Write down 2-3 of the most common on sticky notes and bring to the front. ●Reflections on Education through the ages ●Student values ●Photo Language collective values...now ●21st Century skills
