7 Summary Babe Ruth was born on February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland. Babe was a young boy who always got in trouble. One day he caused a fight at his fathers diner and almost ran him out of business. His mom and dad sent him to St.Mary's school for boys. One day some guy watched him and asked him if he wanted to play professional baseball. He said yes. First he played for the Red Sox. Then He played for the Yankees. He was a very good player and everybody loved him. He lived a short life and died at the age 53. He died on August 16, 1948 in New York City, New York.
