Swing arms are connected to a central gear motor, and through a dual chain and sprocket design rotate together 180 degrees out of phase. The encoder and encoder gears ensure that the microcontroller knows the location of the swing arms at all times. Exploded View to left shows logical assembly of swing arms.

The drive train assembly is the backbone of the entire chassis design. Drive train is designed to be perfectly symmetric in size and weight.

Rice door mechanism is assembled half to the rice container and half to the rice container door. When the solenoid raises the lock pins the door revolves downward and the force of gravity empties the bin.

8 Senior Design: Team Burja _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CAD Full Vehicle Assembly Full View and Size Constraint The additional clear rectangular box surrounding the vehicle represents the ASME dimension constraints Team Burja is just within these requirements on all sides This is a full view with a good look at electronic components including microcontroller and H-bridges
