Conference ‘Enhancement European international cooperation and Eastern Partnership in R&D&I’ Key outcome of the Conference The role of research and innovation is crucial for further development of cooperation between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries and for tackling global and common societal challenges The outcome is reflected in a joint declaration of the European Union and Eastern Partnership Summit which was held on 28-29 November

Conference ‘Enhancement European international cooperation and Eastern Partnership in R&D&I’ Key recommendations of the Conference To support regional cooperation in the fields of e- infrastructures, including research and education networks To support the activity of dedicated Panel on Research and Innovation under the current Eastern Partnership platform IV "Contacts between People" as a reference platform for bi- regional policy dialogue To invite European Commission to monitor the progress of regional cooperation in this area and report regularly
