10. Single-Case vs. Multiple-Case Single-case studies are also ideal for revelatory cases where an observer may have access to a phenomenon that was previously inaccessible. Multiple-case studies follow a replication logic.

11. Literal vs. Theoretical considerations Design framework needs to state the conditions under which a particular phenomenon is likely to be found (literal replication) as well as the conditions when it is not likely to be found (theoretical replication).
