5 MAP = MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES GROWTH “How much did Keala grow between Fall and Fall?” Uses RITs to show how much a student grew from one testing point to another. NORM-REFERENCED “How did Keala perform relative to other students who took the test?” Provides growth targets, based on how other students in the same grade level and starting RIT grew. CRITERION-BASED “Did Keala perform well enough to be considered proficient?” Aligns to standards and, through Learning Continuum, tells skills and concepts mastered, and what is ready to learn.
