7. Rule 1 If you want to make a SINGULAR NOUN possessive: add an apostrophe and an s (‘s) For example, if the singular noun “cat” has a brush, the possessive form is: the cat’s brush

9. Rule 2 If you want to make a PLURAL NOUN that ends in s possessive, just add an apostrophe ( ‘ ) For example: if the three girls own a playhouse the possessive form is: the three girls’ playhouse
