Activities at the Dec SASB Mtg l Heard reports from the 802.20 oversight committee and the appointed 802.20 chair l Approved 1394c, which had previous been deferred pending receipt of certain Letters of Assurance l Approved the extension of the P802.20 PAR for two years with the following conditions: l The officers of the WG shall be approved by the SASB. l Continued oversight by the 802 EC Oversight Committee and the IEEE SASB Oversight Committee. l Quarterly review of the project by the SASB, which could result in the withdrawal of the PAR. l A report from the DASC chair was heard concerning allegations of dominance. The chair was asked to update the Standards Board at future meetings.

Activities at the Dec SASB Mtg l Consider and approved changes to the SASB Bylaws and Operations Manual concerning: l Dominance l Scope and purpose consistency l P&Ps under development l Antitrust language in SASB Ops Man 5.3.8 l Approved minor changes to clause 6 of the Ops Mans and the LOA form (both previously approved) to bring them into alignment with the Bylaws clause 6 changes made by the BoG. l See the updated SASB bylaws and ops man attached to this agenda. l The SASB was informed that the IEEE BoD approved changes to the IEEE Bylaws to fix the problems with WG electronic voting previously caused by NY state non-for-profit law.
