2. In the background of this picture are hot springs. People can go sit in them like a hot tub but they are naturally heated from the volcano nearby.

3. A typical meal; chicken and rice with vegetables. So tasty!

5. As you drive through the hills you can see animals in the trees and by the roadside. We stopped to see a family of monkeys.

6. Zip-lining through the forest 450 ft in the air. Scary but fun!

9. We took a tour of a coffee plantation, and these are coffee beans growing ready to be picked. Coffee is a huge farming business in Costa Rica.

10. Learning to surf! It was my first time and I got up twice!

11. It was interesting to learn about many aspects of Costa Rican culture, from what they eat to pastimes to businesses. These were some pictures from moments on my travel to Costa Rica.
