1. Master of Science Program in Veterinary Pharmacology Degree offered : M.Sc. This graduate program is designed to prepare veterinarians for research, teaching and practice in veterinary pharmacology and other related areas. Academic staffs in the program are specialised in endocrine pharmacology, immunopharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, herbal pharmacology and toxicology. 2. Key research areas : Toxicity of insecticides in animals; mycotoxin; antimicrobial residue in tissue and meat products; endocrine-pharmacology, antiinflammatory, cardiovascular and wound healing effects, mechanisms of action and toxicities of Thai herbal medicinal plants. Facilities : Isolated organ bath, spectrophotometer, p-microtiter plate reader, equipments for studying pancreatic insulin and glucagon secretion, centrifuge, thin-layer chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography, SDS PAGE, 2D-PAGE, etc.
