2 Mission Overview Objectives: Measure gamma radiation during ascent Expecting to discover ionizing radiating increases as a function of altitude Measure air quality during ascent Expecting to discover air to have fewer dust particles per million Record HD video Spike interest of younger students in math, science, and engineering Measure environmental factors Temperature, pressure, humidity Collect acceleration engineering data Meet all RFP requirements Why? Public outreach Verify that atmosphere is necessary for radiation dampening
