4. MAIN POINTS THAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS TRAINING COURSE -Solid waste incineration and waste management in Japan -Environmental criteria and laws in Japan

5. MAIN POINTS THAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS TRAINING COURSE PRACTICE Operations of different pollution monitoring equipments (UV-VIS, AAS, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS) at three companies : Hitachi, Horiba and Shimadzu

6. MAIN POINTS THAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS TRAINING COURSE PRACTICE Dealing with a whole process of Environmental monitoring activities - Sampling (Soil, Air, Water) - Storing sample - Analysis( using many techniques such as GC/MS, HPLC, UV-VIS, LC/MS/MS, Immunoassay ELISA) - Evaluating results

7. SUBJECTS WHICH ARE MOST USEFUL FOR MY COUNTRY Environmental issues in Vietnam - Air pollution caused by motorcycles and automobiles which are rapidly increasing every year.  Air pollutant monitoring

SUBJECTS WHICH ARE MOST USEFUL FOR MY COUNTRY - Increasing amount of domestic waste water but the facilities to treat and dispose them are not enough  Waste water treatment - Large amount of solid waste are now dumped without appropriate treatment and illegally (open dumped site)  Solid waste management

9. SUBJECTS WHICH ARE MOST USEFUL FOR MY COUNTRY Although the war ended since 29 years ago but toxic substances still affected to Vietnamese people who live near the war area. Monitoring toxic substances  ELISA method

10. MY ACTION PLAN AFTER ATTENDING THIS TRAINING COURSE Responsibility of my organization -C onducting some environmental projects and proposals financed by Ministry of Natural resources and Environment - Providing staffs for environmental monitoring stations

11. ACTION PLAN -Starting research on preparing the test kit in simplified method for checking environmental sample.  S uitable for screening method, interesting for environmental practice for my students

12. MY ACTION PLAN AFTER ATTENDING THIS TRAINING COURSE Conducting research on ELISA method for application in my laboratory  Simplicity  Sensitivity  Low cost ● Starting to dispose hazardous chemical from laboratory
