3 Looking for a summer adventure? What about sailing the Great Lakes on a Tall Ship? Toronto Brigantine’s Summer Program is targeted to youth ages 13 to 18, who are able to swim 100 metres and tread water for 10 minutes, are ready for adventure and are looking for NEW FRIENDS, EXCITING CHALLENGES and NEW SKILLS while sailing the Great Lakes and Georgian Bay this summer. If you are writing the 9, 10 or 11 contest please go to room 108 period “A” but yours is on Thursday April 12 th. 7 STUDENT TRUSTEE NEEDED! Want to make a difference ? You can represent over 120 000 students ! Student Trustees are the link between students and the school board. Elections for the term starting August 2012 are held on Wednesday April 20 th at 7:00pm, at a meeting of the YRDSB Presidents’ Council at Richmond Hill High School. CONTINUED….

12 Congratulations to our senior badminton team who qualified 9 of our 10 teams for the first time in our history. We also had four “firsts” in our sectional tournament:  Areeb Alam won mens singles  Sophia Mac and Sanjana Chunduri won ladies doubles  Jordan Zenko and Soham Chavda won mens doubles  Andrew Stoddard and Joey Tsang won mixed doubles Congratulations team!

17 Track and Field This year track and field sign-up will take place in the gym TODAY, April 4 at 2:45 pm The track and field coaching staff expects our athletes to make 3 practices per week. Further information and permission sheets will be given out on TODAY
