1. I can smell your fear, but it’s only a comic book for crying out loud! Use the force and this convenient home- made step-by-step instructional presentation!!!

2. Decide on a background colour. Choose two colours in “details.”

3. Double-click image to change “style.”

4. Insert a template OR add one frame at a time. Choose style of narration box once you’ve “dragged and dropped” from the lower menu.

5. Thought and speech bubbles are also drag and dropped from the lower menu. Change their style just like everything else – change them again in “details.”

6. Drag and drop “lettering” in bottom menu then re-type for sound effects and titles. Choose style like before.

7. Save as a “Comic Life” project file AND export as a jpeg image!!!

8. You will create a Comic Life project based on your selected/ assigned historical figure. You can do a traditional comic with a linear narrative and original artwork. OR you can do a really fancy, state-of-the art “text-book” chapter with a wide variety of visuals (properly cited). Comic info must include... Date and place of birth Education Known associates Major accomplishments (contributions to Greek, as well as, Western society) One not so well known anecdote Works Cited (MLA) Three Comic Life pages minimum.
