1 DIGITAL STORYTELLING SHANE DE PRIEST EFT 5002-COMPUTER & TECHNOLOGY K-12 EDUCATOR

2 MY OUTCOMES THAT I ENVISIONED FOR THIS COURSE? Some of the goals that I wanted to achieve this term was to: Become more fluent with Google documents Learn new websites, and features that I can integrate into my own classroom Learn how to navigate different computer systems Learn new applications that my students can use on a personal level Lesson ideas that would cultivate student learning and inspire them to learn Did I achieve those outcomes? For the most part I did achieve these goals, as I walk away with several new ideas that I did not have before this course.

3 WERE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN CARRYING OUT THE COURSE ASSIGNMENTS ? IF NOT, WHAT PREVENTED OF DISCOURAGED YOU? Yes, I was able to comprehend and complete each assignment, however the digital storytelling proved to be the most difficult assignment for me as I misunderstood the directions and did not copy the screen correctly; which resulted in me having to redo the assignment and making me dislike the assignment even more out of fear of it not working.

4 WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THIS COURSE...ABOUT YOURSELF, YOUR TECHNOLOGY AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS, AND YOUR ATTITUDE I found that technology is being and can be interrogated from as early as kindergarten all the way through high school and well beyond at appropriate levels. From students learning things as simple as numbers and colors to using technology in a business manner. From a technology and leadership stand point I was very pleased with myself and my abilities to complete each assignment as directed. I have a great interest in this course and distinguished a positive attitude thought-out the course.
