10. Ribosomes -structures where proteins are made -small, grain like bodies made primarily of RNA -Some attached to ER or floating free in cytoplasm

11. Mitochondria -power generators of the cell—releases energy -rod shaped organelles -Smooth outer membrane and greatly folded inner membrane

12. Vaculoes -storage areas -Fluid-filled membrane surrounded cavities inside a cell -Larger in plant cells

13. Golgi Body -packages protein and carbohydrates for export from the cell -flattened, layered, sac- like structure located near the nucleus

14. Centrioles -help divide the nucleus during mitosis -composed of small spindles
