3 © 2012 Fruition Horticulture A closed question can be answered by a simple “yes” or “no”. Examples of closed questions are: Do you like chocolate cake? May I use the bathroom? Can I help you with that?

4 © 2012 Fruition Horticulture An open question requires more thought and more than a simple one- word answer – they always start with - WHICH - WHEN - WHO - WHERE - WHY - WHAT - HOW.
