3. Emotion is a strong feeling. There are two basic types: *love *fear

4. Because HE loves us, we are made perfect in HIS love and do not have to live in fear.

5. Do you control your emotions or do your emotions control you?

6. Satan likes it when we concentrate on the negative and are not focused on God. Jesus is the One who gives us joy unspeakable and full of glory.

7. Our emotions are an intricate part of our being and affect our physical, mental, and spiritual health.

8. Do not try to hide your emotions from Him. He has even the hairs of your head numbered.

9. Emotions affect our physical bodies causing chemical reactions within. Jesus can heal our physical bodies and He can heal our emotions. Matthew 8:16-17 Isaiah 53:4

10. Mental health can be affected when emotions are allowed to go unchecked.

11. While we would rather not confront our emotions, trying to keep them from surfacing can never lead to a healthy mental attitude. Matthew 3

12. We can get so focused on our negative emotions we can’t think on Christ or spend time with our Father.

13. We get stressed out and worry about things that either never come to actuality or we cannot change. Matthew 6:35 Philippians 4:6

14. God knows exactly what I need exactly when I need it. John 14:27 2 Thessalonians 3:16

15. Commit scripture to memory so when you find your emotions out of control …you can speak them no matter where you are.
