4 4 Revision Requests Recommended for Approval by PRS (with Opposing Votes)

5 5 NPRR540, Clarification of Credible Single Contingency Purpose (OWG) This NPRR revises the use of Credible Single Contingency to align with actual practice. PRS Vote On 7/18/13, PRS voted to recommend approval of NPRR540 as amended by the 7/10/13 ERCOT comments and as revised by PRS. There were three opposing votes from the Independent Generator (2) and IPM Market Segments, and one abstention from the IREP Market Segment. On 10/17/13, PRS unanimously voted to endorse and forward the 7/18/13 PRS Report and the Impact Analysis for NPRR540 to TAC. Effective Date/Priority January 1, 2014 ERCOT Impact No impacts. Business Case Highlights Aligns the Protocols with actual practice.

6 6 NPRR564, Thirty-Minute Emergency Response Service (ERS) and Other ERS Revisions - U RGENT Purpose (ERCOT) This NPRR proposes a 30-minute ERS product and recommends other changes to ERS more generally. PRS Vote On 10/17/13, PRS voted to recommend approval of NPRR564 as amended by the 9/10/13 ERCOT comments and as revised by PRS with a recommended priority of 2013 and rank of 892. There were three opposing votes from the Consumer, Independent Generator and IPM Market Segments and two abstentions from the IOU Market Segment. Effective Date/Priority December 1, 2013 for interim solution utilizing manual business processes. The long-term solution will require a project for automation – Priority 2013; Rank 892 ERCOT Impact $50k - $75k; impacts to MMS, ISM, and EI; ERCOT business functions will be updated; ERCOT grid operations and practices will be updated. Business Case Highlights Increase system reliability by adding Demand response capability; manpower savings; clarification of deployment obligations and reducing compliance issues.

8 8 PRS voted to recommend that the WMS-endorsed Emergency Response Service Procurement Methodology be added to the Other Binding Documents List. There were three opposing votes from the IPM, Independent Generator, and Consumer Market Segments and two abstentions from the IOU and IREP Market Segments. Addition to Other Binding Documents List
