IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Summary of MBAN and IEEE80215.4n 2016-1-82 MBAN has a great potential to revolutionize the future of healthcare technologies. The purpose of IEEE802.15.4n is to establish a short range, low power and highly reliable wireless communication standard for China, which serves a variety of medical and non-medical applications. One emergent application is able to monitor some physiological parameters of patients in real time and provide assistance and guidance for the diagnosis and prevention of major diseases.

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Challenges to Healthcare 2016-1-83 Increasing in chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and coronary heart disease Weak awareness of prevention, lack of measures Serious shortage of health care resources Means of high-cost medical care are hard to meet the popular demand Current relationship between doctor and patient is very nervous

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Population Aging in China 2016-1-84 China's aging population is a serious problem.Aged 60 or older population reached 185 million, accounting for one fifth of the world's total elderly population. Community and family health care field are still in the blank Nursing home health care lags behind

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission MBAN Application Context and Requirements 2016-1-85 Clinical environment requirements in hospital ER, OR, ICU, Surgery, Ambulatory, Radiology, Ambulance Medical care in geracomium Assisted Living, Activity room Remote patient monitoring at home Bedroom, living room Common needs: Convenience of patients, real-time monitoring, with data storage, sending and receiving, processing and alarm functions. Network has the ability to integration with other networks. WBAN system can analyze the user's physical condition, and make analysis and prevention of chronic diseases.

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Expected Features of MBAN Devices 2016-1-86 Patient mobility, comfort, operational ease, location services Monitoring flexibility, scalability and real-time capability Extension of monitoring into currently care areas Reduced clinical errors Reduced overall monitoring costs Disease prevention, disease prediction and emergency alarm Long-term collection of disease information. Incidence, this information can be used as a doctor diagnosed the disease reference Easy combination of electronic medical records and other health care reform Community and nursing home networking with the hospital systems

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission 2016-1-87

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Medical Applications in Hospital 2016-1-88 Electro Encepalography(EEG), Electro Cardiogram(ECG), Electromyograph(EMG); vital signals monitoring, respiratory monitor, fall detection, wearable heart rate monitor, cardiac arrhythmia monitor; SpO2 wearable pulse oximeter, wearable blood pressure monitor, wearable glucose sensor, wearable thermometer, headsets for voice communications, electronic medical record, body motion capture/gesture recognition.

IEEE 802.15-12-0462-00-004N Submission Thank you ! 2016-1-89
