5 The Amoeba Characteristics of an amoeba. Eats algae, bacteria, other protists, and dead plant or animal matter Is eaten by a zooplankton and other protozoans.

6 The Paramecium Characteristics of a paramecium. Pale Oval Moves using cilia (hair-like objects surrounding protist) Lives in fresh water

7 The Paramecium Characteristics of a paramecium. Eats algae, bacteria, other protists, and dead plant or animal matter Eaten by other protists

8 The Euglena Characteristics of a Euglena. Green Oval Moves using a flagellum (flagella plural) Lives in salt and fresh water

9 The Euglena Characteristics of a Euglena. Makes its own food (producer) Eaten by fish and other animals living in the water Can also find food and eat it (consumer)
