2 Studio Cambridge - An Overview Studio Cambridge is the oldest English Language School in Cambridge, England We are not part of a chain of schools; we are privately owned and managed We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of International Association of Language Centres (IALC), English UK and Education UK Our main school is located only 10 minutes by foot from Cambridge city centre and just 400 metres from the train station

3 Junior Camps All our junior camps include the following: At least 15 or 21 hours of English tuition per week Accommodation (residential or homestay or both) All meals Activities Excursions (except for Sir George which are optional and at additional cost) Airport transfers from/to Heathrow or Stansted on Sundays Insurance

4 Sir Christopher Camp Overview For students aged 16 - 19 years old Course located at the beautiful Ridley Hall and Newnham College in Cambridge Choice of 15 or 21 hours of English tuition per week Opportunity to take the IELTS exam Afternoon and evening activities each week Residential accommodation at Ridley Hall College or at Newnham College next door 1 full-day excursion per week Maximum capacity of 220 students at one time Great location in the city centre, 2 minutes' walk from the river The perfect programme for older students who would still like a supervised course

5 Sir Christopher Course Centre Located at Ridley Hall in Cambridge, affiliated with the University of Cambridge and Newnham College, one of the Cambridge University colleges Large campus with dining hall, residences, classrooms, common rooms and activity facilities on site Accommodation at Ridley Hall or at Newnham College, Lessons take place at both Ridley Hall and Newnham College (next door to each other) Great mix of students from around the world Sports facilities can be found within ten minutes' walk from the school, including a swimming pool, sports pitches and a gym Common rooms in residences Welfare, accommodation and activity offices at Ridley Hall

6 Sir Christopher Facilities

7 Sir Christopher Accommodation Residential rooms at Ridley Hall or Newnham college are mostly single with shared bathrooms and showers. However there are some twin and single en-suites at Ridley Hall All meals provided at school or in the residence Free laundry facilities Change of bed linen once per week Students must return to the residence by midnight at the latest, although they are allowed off campus in the evenings

8 Sir Christopher Course Content 15 or 21 hours of English lessons per week Opportunity to take the IELTS exam on specific dates Course materials provided Certificate and end of course report upon completion of course 2 hours of activities per day for four days each week on standard programme Evening activities 7 days per week Activities office and staff Excellent welfare staff 1 full-day excursion per week on a Saturday
