The Strategy of IT development in NSI contains basic assumptions relevant to the targeted IT environment and IT management structure. The fundamental principle when establishing the future IT environment is to achieve a maximum reasonable consolidation of the currently heterogeneous IT resources.

The necessity to ensure the IT security; The achievement of financial efficiency and investments protection; The adoption of good practice of developed statistical institutions.
