3 The aim of project to present women, participants in Great Patriotic War, of our town Hypothesis women's contribution to the victory was invaluable Task to collect and systematize memories about women; to study documents, newspapers; to analyze the material and put it in order;

4 Research methods Investigation of documents Web search Activities Search (work with materials on the history of the Great Patriotic War); Research (research of pages of history in the settlement); Design (development of aesthetic and art taste while working on the project).

5 The Great Patriotic War began on 22 June 1941. Women of all professions, ages and nationalities became the military defenders of the Motherland. There were 800,000 women who served in the Soviet Armed Forces during the war. Women served as machine gunners, tank drivers, medics, communication personal, pilots, snipers as well as auxiliary roles, fought valiantly on the war fronts, worked in manufacturing. They did everything to win this war. 10 000 women of Tambov region took part in the Great Patriotic War among them 300 women from Zherdevski district.

7 This woman walked the streets of a city. She was an ordinary woman but she had an extraordinary life. She came to help her country in a difficult time. Thanks to these people we have peaceful blue sky.

8 My grandmother, Teplyakova Mariya Ivanovna, dreamt to become a teacher, but she went to the front in 1942. She served in the 381th anti-aircraft artillery regiment. She was the commander of the point observation. She took part in the battles for the liberation of Kerch, Odessa, Kharkov, Voronezh, and in the battle of Kursk.

9 Raisa Volosatova served in 112 road construction battalion. She cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for soldiers. Raisa was awarded by medals "For the liberation of Warsaw", "For the capture of Berlin," "For the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941- 1945."

10 Alexandra Boyarskaya served avtosanitarskaya company of the 3rd Army. Alexandra was awarded two medals "For Military Merit".

11 Vashina Alexandra worked in the hospital as a nurse. Hospital was located in the school № 2 in Zherdevka in 1941. She helped treat the wounded. Alexandra was a kind and responsible person. The soldiers named her “our Shurochka”.

12 Conclusion As a result of the study, we found that women's contributions to the victory was invaluable. Zherdevsky woman also helped in the war. They were soldiers as men, helped the wounded and raised the morale of the soldiers.
