Including higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in learning outcomes is a very common feature of standards based education reform learning outcomes standards based education reform

Solutions Randomly assigned groups to the students and give them time to introduce themselves to break the ice. Sending a circular to take feedback. Counseling session before the beginning if the task. Having meeting with principal to highlight the importance of the task. Problems There may be some students who are unwilling to work with some particular group or pair Parents may not support new method. Motivation among students. Availability of resources

Resources Reference books Multi-media Internet DVD’s Library Computer www.google.com www.ask.com

The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think - rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men’. Bill Beattie

Acknowledgement I would like to thank my Master Trainers Ms Saira Zaman and Ms Sana Adnan for their untiring effort to conduct Intel Teach Programme which was quiet effective and has enhanced our I.T skills in true sense. I am also thankful to Computer Lab Assistant Mr. Kashif for his contribution to resolve technical problems when required. Last but not the least I am thankful to Ms Sana Dabeer for her availability in times of need whenever required.

Conclusion By implementing newly acquired 21 st century teaching approaches, students will be able to think critically and be empowered to better comprehend the subject.
