4 tomorrow Tomorrow is the day after today.Tomorrow is the day after today. I am going to my grandma’s house tomorrow. What are you going to do tomorrow?

5 different  Two things are different from each other if they are not the same.  A dog is different from a robin because a dog has fur and a robin has feathers.  How is an apple different from an orange?

6 groan  When you groan, you make a deep, unhappy sound.  The boys groan when their mother tells them to eat all their vegetables.  Name a word that has the same meaning as groan.

7 excited  To be excited is to be thrilled and happy about something.  I was excited to go to school today.  What have you been excited about?

8 carefully  If you do something carefully, you take your time and think about what you are doing.  I carefully walked across the icy street.  Name a word that means the opposite of carefully.

9 whisper  When I whisper, I talk very softly.  When I am at the library, I have to whisper.  Tell why it is important to whisper at the library.

12 attempt  An attempt is a try.  Mr. Putter made an attempt to build his model airplane.  Why is it important not to quit if your first attempt at something does not work out?

13 eager  An eager person wants to do something very much.  Bob is eager to go to the beach this summer.  What are you eager to do?

14 expert  An expert knows a lot about something or can do something very well.  A firefighter is an expert at rescuing people.  Who are some experts in your neighborhood? What do they do?

15 knowledge  Knowledge is information, or what someone knows.  Danny used his great knowledge of dinosaurs to write a report.  What kind of knowledge does a doctor need?

16 lesson  In a lesson, a teacher teaches a skill to a student.  During Jane’s piano lesson, the teacher shows her how to play teacher shows her how to play new songs. new songs.  What kind of lessons would you like to take? like to take?
