After implementation of a learning strategies lesson, participant will be able to reflect on the plan based on assessment data. 3.5In addition to score 3.0 performance, in-depth inferences and applications with partial success Score 3.0 The participant, without major errors or omissions, will understand and/or be able to: Locate and identify the standards for the learning strategies curriculum. Select and plan for teaching learning strategies to students with disabilities based on their individual learning needs. Align learning strategies instruction to support students in other content areas. Incorporate needs, services and supports for learning strategies instruction in student IEPs. Provides intensive individualized intervention in learning strategies. Addresses academic skill deficits enabling students to learn strategies to access the general curriculum. Involves practical application of course requirements in home, school and community settings for the purpose of practice, generalization and maintenance of skills.
