2 Outline What is Global Warming Greenhouse Gases Positives Negatives
Results of Global Warming Solutions Collusion References

3 What is Global Warming? Temperature has been raising every year since the early 1900’s and it continues to raise Scientist are predicting that the oceans will raise by 39 inches by the end of the century Scientist predict that the ice caps of the north and south pole will melt

4 Greenhouse Gases The greenhouse effect is the rise of temperature that the Earth experiences because of certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun Without these gases the heat would escape back into space and Earth’s average temperature would be about 60ºF colder

5 Other Greenhouse Gases
CO2 is a very big part of global warming Other greenhouse gases are water vapor, nitrous oxide, and methane Methane is also a part of global warming and it has risen over the past 150 years

6 Greenhouse Gas: CO2 For every 5.3 billion people on Earth, 4 tons of CO2 released into the air In a year a car releases more than 3x its weight in carbon dioxide into the atmosphere In the past 100 years atmospheric concentration risen by 22% = 2000 lb car gives off 6000 lbs co2

7 Is Global Warming good or bad for us?
positive Climate warms and cools naturally all the time Some times there’s global warming and other times there’s global cooling Some climates are predictable and others aren't

8 Is Global Warming good or bad for us?
negative The sun could be a reason why we have global warming Another possibility for global warming is human activities add greenhouse gases into atmosphere CO2 and other greenhouse gases increase in the atmosphere

9 Results of Global Warming
Findings indicate the climate is changing quickly than scientists believed a few years ago We are receiving more of our rain and snow in severe downpours than we did 20 years ago

10 Results of Global Warming
Scientists expect to see changes in weather events in the next century Scientists projected higher temperatures and faster rates of sea level rise than previously projected

11 Solutions Allow our inflamed climate to restabilize reductions of 70%
Renew energy sources

12 Solutions If worldwide effort to rewire the planet with climate energy sources would result in economic boom It would create millions of jobs all over the world

13 Conclusion In conclusion global warming is both good and
bad for us. If we didn’t have global warming then Earth’s temperature would be 60ºF colder. Sometimes it could be very bad for because of the heat. Every year CO2 goes up mostly because of cars. A car releases more than three times its weight into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Another reason for global warming is because of greenhouse gases like methane and water vapor. This is why global warming is both good and bad for us.
