2 Type of Knots Four in Hand Knot ◦ Asymmetrical tie knot, good for button-down shirts Pratt Knot ◦ Tidy & fairly wide tie knot, suited for any dress shirt Half Windsor Knot ◦ Symmetrical tie knot, goes with any dress shirt Windsor Knots ◦ Wide & triangular tie knot, good for spread collar shirts

3 Half Windsor Knot Start with wide end on the left side and extend it 12 inches pass the narrow end.

4 Half Windsor Knot Crossover wide end over narrow end

5 Half Windsor Knot Bring wide end around narrow end from the back.

6 Half Windsor Knot Bring the wide end up

7 Half Windsor Knot Pull wide end through the loop and bring it to the left.

8 Half Windsor Knot Bring wide end around front from left to right

9 Half Windsor Knot Bring the wide lend up the loop again.

10 Half Windsor Knot Bring the wide end through the knot in front

11 Half Windsor Knot Tighten the knot, and draw it up to the collar
