3 Charles Dickens One of the greatest writers of Victorian era. He mixed poetry with comedy. His most important novels: Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, The christmas books….

4 Lewis Carroll Author, matematician, logician, photographer He got the degree at Oxford. Alice’s Adventure in Worderland.

5 Arthur Conan Doyle He created Sherlock Holmes. His wife died of tuberculosis. His most important novels are by Sherlock Holmes.

6 Bram Stoker He graduated in maths and science. Gothic genre. His most important novel: Dracula.

7 Robert Louis Stevenson He was a travel writer. He was of Tory political party. Novels: Treasure Island, Kidnapped, The Wrecker.

8 Oscar Wilde

9 His life He went to the Trinity and Maddalen College. He had two sons He is remembered for his epigrams. He died very early.
