4. What is Bayanihan & Kapatiran? Bayanihan is a Filipino term originally meant to refer neighbors carrying a Bahay Kubo (hut/house) to a new location. This is a unique Filipino value which complements another Filipino value of Kapatiran or brotherhood. Both values exhibit the outpouring of communal effort among Filipinos for the common good without expecting anything in return.

5. VISION To empower every Filipino around the world to foster and embrace the values of Bayanihan and Kapatiran by providing an avenue of global interconnectedness for volunteers and non-profits to experience, be inspired and keep the Bayanihan spirit alive.
