1 Do Now: On your Do Now paper make a list of the three levels of questioning that we discussed in class yesterday. Which level of question is each of the following: 1. On p. 19, Tío Juan wanders away from the apartment and Gonzalo says “My mother almost fainted.” Why did she almost faint? 2. What Central American country did Gonzalo and his father come from? 3. Do you think that there should be more opportunities for adults who immigrate to our communities to take English language classes? How might that be arranged? What problems might need to be solved first?
